I use SFTP alot, and sometimes I like to delete a folder. As you know, deleting a folder in Transmit currently involves it recursing through the directory tree and deleting all the contents individually. It's really slow!
I’m not sure if the SFTP protocol support removing entire directory trees in one fell swoop natively, but you could send an "rm -rf PATH_NAME" SSH command. I realise that the latter option is dependent on the server OS but it could be a switchable option for advanced users.
